Stage 2 – Getting ready!
Teachers will be able to create coherent lesson plans suitable for their specific teaching contexts and select appropriate resources and activities to promote grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation (language systems)learning; as well as effective classroom management techniques, to set up and manage all classroom events effectively, and to foster learners’ motivation and engagement. The role of errors and mistakes will be highlighted as an important step in language acquisition as well as the use of appropriate correction and feedback techniques.
